Inventory Operations Specialist Direct Hire
Eden Prairie, MN
Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill a Direct-Hire Inventory Operations Specialist opening with a company in Eden Prairie, MN.
Interested candidates should have at least 3 years of Inventory Management & Shipping / Receiving experience, be a well-organized, motivated person who can manage an entire warehouse with speed and accuracy.
Inventory Operations Specialist Job Description :
- Responsible for entire warehouse and all corresponding processes
- Ship customer orders same day, with accurate materials, address info & rate of service
- Receive supplier deliveries on time and maintain receiving documents
- Perform inventory accuracy counts and rearrange / move inventory as needed
- Manage all incoming materials, as well as customer shipments using an ERP system and standard shipping tools like FedEx Manager / UPS WorldShip
- Use the ERP system to manage inventory locations and accuracies
- Generate and kit work orders for manufacturing
- Package items for shipment, work with package carriers and occasionally help loading / unloading trucks with material handling equipment
Inventory Operations Specialist Job Requirement :
- 3 years receiving & shipping experience required
- 3 years inventory management experience required
- ERP system knowledge
- Work order generation, kitting and material logistics experience preferred
- Medical Device / Manufacturing experience preferred
- Startup / small business experience preferred
- Physically lift and / or move 40-50 pounds
The starting salary for the Inventory Operations Specialist position is $50,000-$70,000 annually.
